Hello and Welcome to Genre's Fund for Hope!
Thank you for learning more about what we do. We are the same group of folks who cherished our time as Genre’s Kids with Cancer Fund. That amazing journey serving families living with childhood cancer took us places we never imaged- both wonderful and awful.
With God’s leading, we find ourselves moving to serve families in the aftermath of tragedy. It is our sincere hope that we will be a blessing for many families in the years to come.
Our Story
Helping families living through childhood cancer was an honor and a great gift given to us during the season when we were in a place where we fit perfectly to help. Thankfully, we live in an area where people will happily and generously walk alongside families fighting through childhood cancers. Over the past fifteen years, we have noticed that there are a few places where some needs may be overlooked, or there is a space to fill in the gap. When a trauma happens to a family and the head of the home is affected, the results can be devastating for everyone living in the house. This is what interested us in getting involved with helping families living through life threatening illness, tragedy, or trauma. We hope to help emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
